At the core of the DocuRouter system is a Rule-based Document Routing
Engine that allows users to configure document capture, processing and delivery rules.
DocuRouter Source and Destination Connectors enable
reliable, error-free document capture, processing and delivery
from different document sources such as back-office business applications or
inbound documents--email, fax, scan--to multiple delivery
destinations such as email, fax, network printer, network file system folders, content repositories
or web locations.
The DocuRouter provides flexible
document delivery to multiple destinations in any manner including multiple deliveries
in parallel or tandem actions. For instance, inbound fax documents can be captured with associated
fax metadata information, processed with optical character recognition (OCR) for additional
data capture, and delivered to a content repository with automated indexing
for document archiving or instant fax workflow.
