Oracle Universal Content Management

Oracle Universal Content Management provides everything you need to create a vast range of content management
applications as a unified enterprise content management platform. Most analysts recognize Oracle Universal Content Management as a leader in
Enterprise Content Management. In additions, most of the components are themselves leaders in their categories.
Yet everything works together seamlessly, and leverages same underlying Content Server repository.
The web-based Oracle UCM repository stores all content, regardless of content type, for management,
reuse and access. While stored in the repository, all types of content, ranging from email,
discussions, documents, reports, spreadsheets and records to images, multimedia or other digital
formats, receive the same set of fundamental core services. These core services include:
library services, security, conversion services,
workflow, personalization, index/search,
replication and administration.
Built on top of the Universal Content Management core services are five key application modules
that provide a single platform and user environment to fully leverage content management
investments across the organization and multiple line-of-business applications.
- Document Management
- Web Content Management
- Records Management
- Retention Management
- Digital Asset Management
